I really hope a lot of these aren't true! Check it out if you are bored. It's interesting to see how far technology has come, but there are certain things that I vow Aurora will know - with or without technology!
I, for one, am looking forward to the day when we no longer have wires. Computer, TV, gaming systems, etc. all encompass many wires and create quite a mess! But I do hope that my children (and Aurora) know what books are :)
ReplyDeleteI agree - I hate wires! But yeah - the books - that would be so sad if she didn't ever read real books. And I want her to know how to use a map! - Not always rely on some GPS or something :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked out the website yet, but to add to your conversation: When Brandon and I went to PA, it was crazy driving there. we had a rand mcnally map, and had used mapquest to get the directions. It is crazy to think that when we took road trips as kids, there was no mapquest/google maps to get directions. I remember thinking how nice it would be to have a GPS. But we never had one for our road trips before... How reliant we have become on technology!
